They’re back! Originally from Ghana in West Africa, the Akwaaba Ensemble brings plenty of high-energy rhythm and dance to the Newmarket Heritage Festival. The group’s performances are a reflection of their name, which means ‘welcome’ in the Twi language of the Ashanti tribe of Ghana. Join the international block party and catch the welcome spirit!
