Volunteering at the Heritage Festival will make you JUMP for joy! Support a great community event, have fun and earn free admission to great performances like the Akwaaba Ensemble (above).

2012 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Set-Up Team [Friday, Sept. 21: 2 pm - 7 pm]
Set up chairs and tables, decorate the performance tents, assemble the stages, and more.

Festival Admissions Team [Saturday, Sept. 22: 9:30 am - 9:30 pm]
Got two hours? We need volunteers to work in the festival admissions booth and welcome people to Newmarket’s award-winning international block party.

Morning Crew [Saturday, Sept. 22: 7:30 am - 9:30 am]
Help with vendor set-up, tent set-ups, signage placement and more.

Festival Grounds Crew [Saturday, Sept. 22: 9:30 am - 9:30 pm]
On-site help during the festival: assist performers, artisans, vendors; work in performance tents; help with parking and trolley; and more.

Break-down Team [Saturday, Sept. 22: 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm]
Fold chairs, stack tables, sweep and more. This is the after-party. Many hands make light work. Come have some fun and help us wrap up this year’s block party.
