NEW WATERFRONT EVENTS, LOTS FOR KIDS, AND MORE
AT NEWMARKET HERITAGE FESTIVAL–RAIN OR SHINE
NEWMARKET – This year's Newmarket Heritage Festival (September 19, 20, 21) features events for children and families, plus expanded waterfront activities, including booths and boat rides, tours of the Captain Edward H. Adams gundalow, and a tent with presentations and stories throughout the day. All events take place under tents and will be held rain or shine. Story continues.

NEWMARKET, NH - Buttons are now on sale for the sixth annual Newmarket Heritage Festival (September 19, 20, 21), a fun-filled celebration of local heritage, culture, and tradition. Story continues.

NEWMARKET MAIN STREET CORPORATION SPEARHEADS HISTORIC ENGINE HOUSE STREETSCAPE BEAUTIFICATION FUND-RAISING EFFORT

NEWMARKET, NH—The Newmarket Main Street Corporation (NMSC), together with the Newmarket Hand Tub Association, is underway with a $15,000 fund-raising campaign for Phase II of the Engine House restoration project. Story continues.


FESTIVAL FACTS
Description
The annual Heritage Festival celebrates Newmarket’s rich historic, cultural, and natural heritage and reaffirms its community spirit. The three-day event takes place in historic downtown Newmarket and features multi-cultural music and dance, traditional artisan demonstrations, historic walking tours, narrated boat rides, participatory arts projects, creative children’s activities, fine arts and crafts, vendor booths, international foods, and more. Each year the festival is a blend of old and new, featuring favorite performers, artisans, exhibitor booths, and activities from previous years and introducing new activities and events.

Dates and times: 
  Friday, September 20: 5 pm – 9:30 pm
* Saturday, September 21: 10 am – 9:30 pm
* Sunday, September 22: 11 am – 8:30 pm

Admission: Festival-goers purchase $5 admission buttons good for the entire weekend, including all performances, demonstrations, and tours. Children under 12 are free. Buttons go on sale in August and are available at the Newmarket Public Library, the Town Hall, Newmarket Community Center, Marelli’s, Wadleigh Falls Driving Range. The festival will be held rain or shine
